Blade and Soul 2

Blade and Soul Review 2021

It's been four years since the first Blade and Soul were launched in Asia. Torture awaited Western fans of the game. But now that it has finally come here, it remains to be seen what all the fuss was about. The combination of war games and MMOs is a great idea, but the smart warfare of Blades and Souls doesn't take it out of the shadows of other MMORPGs. It has very little flash and not many features. Free-to-play is a tough game to compare with peers, especially since Ensisoft recommends its own Wildstar Blade and Soul.

If you’ve been playing an MMO for the past decade, you’ve probably been obsessed with Blade and Soul by an activity already known. In your quest to reach the level cap and open endgame activities, you will travel through fantasy mountains and jungles, run dungeons and if fancy hits you, master crafts and collection skills. Blades and surfaces rarely try to do anything original with this formulaic structure, and moderate results are obtained from the few deviations that it creates.

Kicks everything except tradition.

There is the weight of a cartoon on Saturday morning in your attempt to avenge the murder of your friend and master by your mysterious ginseng. It’s good fun, but not just an interesting thing. And although there are some interesting moments, they have expanded into the PvE campaign and reminded them that they were sitting at the dinner table when my mother threatened to stop dessert until I finished my vegetables.

It’s a non-stop dam of ‘go here and kill Y’s X’ that blends in with a few forms that always fail to mix things up. It is almost impossible to escape from these searches because they are the only way to flatten at a reasonable speed. Dungeons and PvP may be enough for more patient players, but the little experience points gained in both cases mean it will take much longer to reach the same destination.

There is also an annoying lack of life features. The monsters or objects you need to find are not just for you, which can be a nightmare to explore in crowded areas because if you are not grouped together there is no way to share what you earn from killing monsters with other players. You can switch between "channels" in the hopes of finding an example of a populous region, but this is a great solution to a problem solved many years ago, when you realize that many boss travel regions share their prizes equally. Would you kill them as part of a group?

Black holes are usually a welcome distraction from looking for bread and butter in other MMOs, but I think many find them unimaginable and short - mostly black holes in the conventional sense. Instead, they are romped for five minutes with another wait at the end of an obscure cave or an anticlimactic boss. Instead of demanding teamwork or skills in your class, larger, wider dungeons feel like a breeze. Below the proposed level I never struggled to lose them as an incomplete team.

Assemblies and crafts are underdeveloped, too, requiring nothing more than time and money. You can join two craft and two assembly guilds, but the process of acquiring wealth only sinks the money, not the profitable investment. Simply select what you want to do or collect, pay the fee and then wait a certain amount of real time (about 20 minutes) and collect the item.

Like most free-to-play games, Blade and Soul have an in-game cash store so you can spend real money or special in-game coins. Fortunately, those who prefer to ignore cash reserves will have no difficulty because the items are either cosmetics or for convenience, such as the weapons found in the chest can be used in your class.

One aspect of the PVE experience, if recognized, is that the environment of the blade and sole is beautiful. They don’t necessarily feel combined, and you can hardly believe you’re exploring a living world, but it feels good to see the background and taste of each region. Sadly, the performance was somewhat uneven because the frame deep and hitch graphics settings were not normal and impressive.

The art design will be controversial, although it forces almost every woman with short arms, tied and short waist. The character builder has a good degree of flexibility, but it’s clear what it’s going for. For example, I had a great time after dressing for the new outfit, and everyone has a real work of art elements that I loved, but it's frustrating that many think that they were designed overnight before going to bed with scissors and piercing the breasts. In. At least the breed you choose makes a difference - both Eun and Lin, like the cat, seem to have more intelligent images than Gon and Jin.

What finally stopped me about the characters was the embarrassing breast physics that caused every woman's breasts, big or small, to spin like two helium balloons on two windy days. I realize that the skimpy costume for the anime course and the unreasonably bouncy book are the same, but the teenage imagination becomes detached from the whole thing - I want to play as a badass warrior, not a hypersexualized doll.

I know kung fu .

All of this would make Blade and Soul act as another ‘Korean MMORPG’ if it weren’t for one thing: excellent player-vs-player combat that seems more like a fighting game than an MMO. It’s already a popular sport in the East, and I doubt it will grow as it engages with Western competitors.

At any time, you can go to an arena lobby and meet other players. In these conflicts your gear figures have been flattened, winning over raw skills entirely instead of having good equipment.

But there’s a big problem with PvP: it can’t really be appreciated unless you’ve already pushed your character through the awful dull PvE to level up to the cap. When arena matches are matched with gear, you will not have access to all your powers until you level and unlock them. Worst of all, from what I can tell, very few attempts have been made to associate you with opponents of the same level. In the beginning I often met players above my 20 level, which was a big problem when I didn’t even unlock my strong skills.

Each of the seven classes has its own way of fighting which seems to be very unique. Although I first fell in love with the kung fu master's combo and reliance on the counter, I preferred the cruelty of the quick destroyer, who can subdue a giant ax and opponent when repeatedly hitting the face.

Instead of relying on auto-attacks to fill in the blanks, instead of complex hotkey rotation masses, fighting at Blade and Soul allows you to take direct control of your character. Both you and your opponent have a satisfying complexity of how your strength expands during a fight depending on the situation. If you get a back injury or injury, your hotkey bar skills may change due to situational skills. The right time will help bring the war back to you. Playing as my Destroyer, a deadline counter could send my opponent flying, causing them to face the punishment of a pile driver.

This fluid method of fighting creates an exciting gift and acceptance that looks elegant while rewarding skills and time. Even against an obviously good opponent, I’ve never been completely out of place in a fight when a good time counter can bring back adversity in my favor. I have raised my hand for victory more than once.

Sadly, off the field, the battle has almost no effect - especially against the countless monsters on the last game ride. Although most players will try to mimic the skills used when fighting other players, they are rarely an option. I found the most common difficulty of PvE warfare frustratingly easy. Instead of dynamic and challenging battles, fighting computer-controlled enemies became a tedious routine. Like other MMOs, I’ve spammed the same power rotation over and over again because I’ve cleared my way around the world while looking at my experience bar as if it’s a clock hand on the last day of school.

This is where Blade and Soul's desire to be MMOs and the highly competitive fighting game are at their worst. And where I wish the whole MMO aspect could be alchemical or completely complete. If PvE and leveling were actually fun, the way PvP is a hostage, I could be more forgiving than that unless you invest dozens of hours to crush your character to 45 levels. Competitive players can attract blades and surfaces they will look for investments when they get to the better part of the game.

Without the housing or other confusion created more deeply, the blades and sole seem quite light. Outside of PvP, it's the same grind that has already gotten a lot better in other games. If PVP were immediately accessible to new players, I don’t think it would be as big of a problem, but Blade and Soul first insisted on being a derivative MMO and second in a great competitive fighting game.

Blade and Spirit in short.

Originally published in Asia six years ago, Blade & Soul has had some success in the West. Fans in the West have long been demanding Blade and Soul: The seemingly innovative graphics-inspired graphics in the glamorous anime and its highly advanced combat system offer a wonderful experience to NCSoft's new experience.

The question though, does it live up to all the hype? In many ways yes, fighting games are reminiscent of classic combo based fighting games, making each face interesting and unique. The graphics are great, if a little dated. However optimization problems and lag runs are widespread, PvE lacks some brightness, and gearing at the highest level can do some work. The game is a mixed bag, it corrects some things and makes some mistakes, but the things that correct it may be enough to overcome some of its strict aspects according to the quality of the player.

You like sexy, don't you?

Character design is controversial but somewhat anticipated for the Asian Games. Women are dirty and small-handed, an anticipated feature of MMO play in much of the East. Fortunately a lot of it depends on your race selection. Gon and Jin are significantly less conservative in their clothing than Eun and Lin. This is not a critique but an observation. I wasn’t particularly bothered by this aspect of the game, but some players might find it unreasonable. Fortunately the game boasts a decently powerful character creation system. You can change your toon features as you like, and there are plenty of hairstyles and accessories available for you.

Somewhat related game costume system. This feature is one of my favorites. Unveiling new costumes and showing them to my playmates was rewarding and enjoyable. Even if some clothing, well, is revealed. Of course many of these games can be purchased through cash stores, but many games are readily available to play well.

The main battle.

That being said, the most compelling reason to hope in the game is the combat system. This is truly the most innovative, new experience you will get with Blade and Soul. When I play Blade and Soul, at least when I'm fighting, I think I'm playing Street Fighter instead of World of Warcraft.

Playing a class to its full potential involves more than just learning its rotation and climbing the loot treadmill. This requires a deep understanding of game mechanics and the ability to predict the movements of enemies. This is especially important in PVP, because the conflict between Blade and Sol is like playing chess. You must constantly be one step ahead of your enemy.

Skills are consistently combined by pressing a button, you don’t just create a hotkey in the best hope. Running this combo is both satisfying and fun. However, there is a lack of fighting outside the PVP. You can’t take advantage of your full assortment of skills to fight NPCs, not to mention that most encounters are painfully easy.

This is unfortunate to see because the stables are simply amazing when you have a full arsenal of skills in hand. This means you have to cap your character, which means you have to PvE. Once you get to that point, Blade and Spirit provide a great PVP experience.

The last thought.

Blade and Soul is a game with a few flaws. PvE could be better, the story could be much better. Searches can be more varied. This is an MMO that does not deviate from the established formula, but that does not mean that it cannot be run or worse.

Any fan of classic MMORPG like World of Warcraft can get to know Blade and Soul. It is not a pioneer of new horizons, but offers a game that combines excellent PvP combat and perfect art direction that is not entirely unique but fun.
